Project Location

The project is located in the Omboye Village of North Alego location, Siaya District in Kenya. This location is approximately 20-miles from the shores of Lake Victoria, near the port of Kisumu.

This is an economically depressed part of the country and the extended families do not have the means to help the orphans. It is also among the districts with the highest prevalence of HIV/AIDS, in addition to having the worst health and socio-economic indicators in the country.
